Important Information
If you are NOT going to finish the audax, please tell one of the controls or contact the organiser, Paul Boielle, (you can leave a message) on 07764 294 173.
It is important that you let the organisers know that you have completed the Audax safely, this is achieved by handing in your control stamped brevet card; or have abandoned the event and have means of getting home, under your own steam, getting friends or relatives to collect you, this is done by informing a control or telephoning the organiser on the above mobile number and leaving a message... otherwise they will worry and may send out a search party looking for you (in case you are lost or injured).
Audax Start Location and Time
The Audax starts outside the Sailing Centre, opposite Costello's Cafe (Tel: 01438 748 458) in Fairlands Valley Park, Stevenage [ Grid Ref: OS Map 166 TL 254-243 ].

Each person has been allocated to a group with a designated start time - the organisers would like you start at those times.

To see what medals and cloth badges you can buy to commemorate your completion of this Audax event, have a look at the official Audax UK website; once there follow the following sequence (or click on each hyperlinks to take you to each page)
- select the 3rd item, Handbook, from the menu bar at the top of that web page;
- then scroll down the list of links until you get to the penultimate link, Medals Gallery; then
- for medals, select the first item in the left hand column, 50-200km 2008 issue, or
- for cloth badges, select the first item in the right hand column, 50-150km current issue.
