South Wales
Just Terry again on this one.
A very tough but excelent event with 1800 metres of climbing: 3 climbs of about 500 mtrs.
120 Km long and completed in a time of just under 4 and a half hours.
This event was organised by Dragon Ride Wales.
As well as the 120 Km (Medio Fondo) which had 2300 m of climbing;
there was also a 180 Km (Gran Fondo) event, with 3000 m of climbing.
2008
(in the South Downs)
Adrian and Terry rode
140 Kms, with 1500 metres of climbing, in a time of 6 hours and 9 mins.
Because of Terry's age, he got a silver medal, but a special mention should go to Adrian for doing the ride on his single speed.

North Cornwall
Just Terry on this one.
"I'm affraid, the toughest ride for me so far this year.
I didn't finish, due to falling off half way.
I
gave up after 60 miles.
There were some really tough climbs; some as steep as 30%"

Tim, Adrian and Terry, rode 100 km, in 4 and half hours - a good ride on roads we know quite well.

Robin, Tim and Terry rode 65 miles (100Km), with 1500 metres of climbing, in a time of 5 and a half hours; a tough and challenging early season test.
This event was organised by Catford Cycling Club.
There was also a (less challenging) 50Km Devil's deTour event.
