Spring Gazette

Southgate Cycling Club has the enviable distinction of being one of the first cycling clubs created in the UK, established in 1882.

The club is based in Enfield, North London and participates and organises a variety of cycling events in and around the local surrounding areas of Enfield, Hertfordshire and Essex.

The club aims to bring enjoyment to cycling and promotes all cycling related activities. See the relevant sections for a brief introduction to the cycling activities we organise and participate. All you need to join the Southgate Cycling Club is enthusiasm, lots of energy and a road worthy bike - road, mountain or hybrid will do. Whether you are a novice or an avid cyclist, man or woman, everyone will be more than welcome to join us on our cycling rides and activities. We pride ourselves at never leaving a cyclist behind.

You don't have to book - just turn up with your road bike and lots of energy.
